Cookie Settings
Version 1.1, 21/10/2026.
We use only the storage the service needs to work, and no analytics, advertising or tracking. Anything that is not strictly necessary stays off unless you accept it. You are asked on your first visit to this site and to the app, and you can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page.
Non-essential storage and content: Not chosen yet
Non-essential: only if you accept
- Google Street View (maps.google.com), in the app and the demo, when a property's street picture is shown. It is loaded from Google Maps only after you accept; Google sees your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies. If you reject, a link to open Street View on Google Maps is shown instead.
Strictly necessary: always on
These do not need consent. They keep you signed in, remember your choice and make the service work, and are not used to track you.
Cookie
- ak_consent (first party, 180 days): whether you accepted or rejected non-essential items.
Local and session storage on simplyakltd.com, the app and the demo
- akConsent: the same choice and the time it was made.
- arnCode, arnDemo, akAcct, akPend: your access code and the name on the Account button, so you stay signed in on this device (akPend holds a sign-in link for a moment while you are signed in).
- arnDev, arnCt: a device key and ID, so that a wrong-code lockout never shuts out a device that has signed in, and so that sign-up limits can be applied.
- deskCache: recent results kept on your device so screens open quickly.
- deskAddrs, deskIdx, scanRun: recent addresses and scan progress.
- fb973q: a result rating that could not be sent, kept until the next result (up to five).
- akT: a test item written and removed at once, to check that storage works.
Third parties that see your IP address
Pages load the Manrope font from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address; this sets no cookie. The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which sets no tracking or optional cookies. The app is served through Google, which receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads and may set its own strictly necessary cookies. See Google's privacy policy.
Clear my data on this device
This removes the items above from this browser on simplyakltd.com, including the demo sign-in. It signs you out. Inside the app, use Cookie settings in its footer. To withdraw your consent or have your data deleted, email ari@simplyakltd.com. More in the Privacy Policy.
